Zahra Sakr
Communications Assistant
Zahra Sakr is a communications assistant with IISD’s Resilience program.
Most recently, she acted as a communications fellow with Youth Challenge International in Tanzania, where she collaborated with local organizations to promote gender equality, youth empowerment, and social entrepreneurship. In this role, she designed and executed communication strategies to amplify the voices of low-income communities, women, and youth.
Zahra holds a bachelor’s degree in biological sciences with a strong foundation in environmental conservation.
